Captive Heart by Michele Paige Holmes

This book is set in the late 1800's.  It is about a desperate father who joins a lawless group to claim a teacher for his son.  He kidnapps a teacher and drags her with him to collect his son, so she can teach him.  This book is funny, and romantic and thrilling.  A fast read and a great storyline.  This book will appeal to anyone who loves to read about funny romance.

This book was quite strange at the beginning but it does get better. The book is about a girl who has nightmares that she doesn't understand.  The Flashbacks are her falling down stairs and in a house she has never been into before.  After her Aunt dies she inherits a plantation.  She goes to the plantation to see if she can run the plantation when she starts to remember things that she shouldn't be able to know.  She is also drawn to a murder than happened when she would have been only a young child herself.  This book was very good with lots of twists and turns.  The main character is very likeable but the other characters in the book leave you wondering what the author will reveal about them.  I love romance mysteries and after the first couple of chapters I did enjoy this book.  I gave this book 3.5 stars and I read this book at the end of August 2011.

Delivering Hope by Jennifer Ann Holt

For me this was a great read, it was very inspiring and well written, I loved the insight into how Olivia was feeling whilst going through such a trial in her life.  I've had a friend in both situation I know that each is hard and incrediably difficult, I feel for those who have to make decisions like the one Allison made, what a brave girl.  The author who wrote this book wrote from the heart with some of her own experiences.  The story is about Olivia who above anything wants to be a Mother.  When it looks as though she will not be able to achieve this without help she is more than happy to go through what she needs to with help, when this also doesn't work for her she becomes very angry, dissapointed and bitter.  As with all trials she learns to rise above this and find a way to cope and whilst in this state of mind she turns to adoption.  Allison is a good girl who makes a mistake, we have all made mistakes only Allisons you can see.  The mistake A...

Obsession by Traci Hunter Abramson

Not sure if I need to say too much about this book, the author should tell you what I thought of the book.  I'm not sure this author knows how to write a bad book, and this book is no exception.  Loved it, Loved it, Loved it.  The book is about a singer who goes into hiding to avoid a stalker, she refuses body guards, and FBI help.  She meets a very attractive man who she gets romantically involved with.  Only to find out he has been assigned to protect her without her knowledge. Again I loved this book, a really good read, with all the twists and turns you expect from this wonderful author.  I love her books and this was great.  I gave this book 5 stars and I read this book in September 2011.
