The Maid of Fairbourne Hall by Julie Klassen

When Margaret feels threatened she flees London in disguise, she needs to escape marrying a dishonorable man. With no money and nowhere else to go, she takes a job as a maid in the home of the man she turned down marriage to, Nathaniel Upchurch, she rejected Nathaniel in hopes of winning his brother. Hoping no one will recognize her, Margaret has to work for the first time in her life, if she is able to last till her birthday she will get her inheritance from her aunt, and her independence.  The characters of this book were great and interesting, this is a historical romance and it was easy, clean and fun to read, I would give this book 4 stars and I read this book January 2012.
