The Curricle & Chaise by Lizzie Church

Lydia is penniless and is forced to live with her aunt and uncle, who really don’t want her.  She has plenty of admirers. Luckily Lydia is well able to look after herself but she gets into a number of scrapes which almost cost her any chance of happiness before finally managing to sort things out in the end.

I really like all historical romance and this one was good, I did find it a little slow, the characters were likable and it was a clean read.   I read this book in April 2012 and gave this book 3 stars.
