Wind Dancer by Jamie Carie

Isabelle is a free spirit, unlike most women.  She takes on a journey to travel to collect some books for her church.  Her mother agrees to the journey as long as she takes a tour guide and her brother with her.  Whilst travelling to obtain the books she meet Samuel, he tags along with them as they are going to the same place, when the tour guide goes missing, they are attached by Indians and held prisoner.  She is forced to watch as they kill her brother, in order to stay alive she must act as they do.  This is hard as she is wild and likes to be free, she tests her boundaries, she refuses to conform.  This book is interesting, not a favorite book of mine, I wonder about the portrayal of the Indians, not sure if they would act as the book says they do.  I did find her intriguing, I expected more from the book.  I read this book in June and I gave it 3 stars.
